Credit: SWNS <br/><br/>Britain's oldest striker is still banging in the goals for his local football team three times a week - at the grand age of 90.<br/><br/>Sprightly Mike Fisher - nicknamed Ninja by teammates - is still averaging a hattrick every game following a footballing career which began 75 years ago in 1949. <br/><br/>The former RAF veteran turns out every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for two local walking football teams after he started playing for them aged 82. <br/><br/>Previously to that, granddad-of-two Mike, of Bloxwich, West Mids., played up until his 40s before taking a break from the beautiful game.<br/><br/>After falling back in love with the sport in his 80s he now regularly appears for Old Corinthians, who play at non-league Rushall Olympic's ground in Walsall.

_unveiling-for-raf-typhoon-display-team39s-new-typhoon.webp "The Typhoon Display Team is bidding farewell to the 'BlackJack' Typhoon and unveiled its successor on Monday April 22, after more than six months of careful and secretive planning.<br/>The new, as yet un-named Typhoon, has been given a different paint scheme, which was completed by Serco, to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.<br/>The inspiration was to pay tribute to the RAF Hawker Typhoon, which was flown on D-Day by 257 Sqn and where the modern Typhoon takes its name from. The Hawker’s original paint scheme has been replicated, with a few minor tweaks, onto the Display Team’s new aircraft.<br/>The new Typhoon will be debuted at the Midlands Air Festival on May 31.")

_80-year-old-found-rare-d-day-paradummy-and-mistook-it-for-a-scarecrow.webp "An 80-year-old donated a rare original parachute dummy from D-Day to a museum - after mistaking it for a scarecrow.<br/><br/>Robert Bowley was clearing out his late brother's home when he came across the dummy.<br/><br/>His brother Michael Bowley had been fond of French collectors items and got it while on a trip to Normandy in the 1950s or 1960s.<br/><br/>Robert said he had initially mistaken it for a scarecrow before he passed it along to a museum.<br/><br/>That's when he discovered it was in fact a rare surviving D-Day artefact worth thousands.<br/><br/>The 'scarecrow' was one of several hundred from Operation Bodyguard, part of Operation Overlord, on June 6 1944.<br/><br/>Paradummies, made of hessian cloth, straw and sawdust, were dropped to create fake invasions by allied forces to divert enemy attention from the Normandy landing beaches.<br/><br/>Most of the dummies had a self-destroying mechanism to destroy the evidence - making this surviving dummy rare and valuable.<br/><br/>The paradummy is thought to be worth around £10,000 and one of less than 30 still in existence.<br/><br/>It is now on permanent display in the D-Day exhibition at House on the Hill Toy Museum.<br/><br/>Robert, a retired watchmaker and antique collector from Braintree, Essex, said: \")
