Description: This film was made by Wilfrid Dyson Hambly, Assistant Curator (later Curator) of African Ethnology at the Field Museum in Chicago. In 1929-1930 he led the Frederick H. Rawson – Field Museum Expedition to Angola and Nigeria, which is when this film footage was taken. As a result of the expedition he published a study ‘The Ovimbundu of Angola’.
