Description: This video is about the exhibition of textiles of kimono and belt (called 'obi') which I'm making in my studio in Kyoto.nnThe exhibition is titled 'Fueki'.nn'Fueki' means 'Immutable'.nnI picked this title because I have my own definition of being 'basic'.nnFor me, 'basic' means 'beautiful', 'artistic', 'stylish', 'inteligence' and 'creative'.nnWhen I was creating my textile work, I was inspired by the novel of Junichiro Tanizaki.
